Honor Kever spent the first 27 years of her life moving, and finally settled in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1975.
After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1977, she joined an artist-run cooperative gallery and learned a great deal from the other artists involved.
Her current works are oil paintings, but she has also exhibited black and white photographs, etchings and drawings.
Her works are included in several public permanent collections as well as several private collections.
She also did the illustrations for the children’s book The Stonking Steps, written by her son, William Rogers.
She still lives in Saskatoon with her husband, the writer David Carpenter. They both agree that Saskatoon winters are the ideal time to get lots of creative work done.
